Administrative / Business Office / Clerical Positions 

Credentialing Coordinator

Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

  • Maintain knowledge of all current and emerging credentialing issues and applicable laws. Stay updated on any change in regulations and ensure compliance with such changes.
  • Develop, maintain, and strictly adhere to tracking/tickler system so that all credentialing matters are handled in an accurate and timely manner with no lapses.
  • Complete hospital or care facility applications for privileges.
  • Complete all steps for Texas licensure for all providers both pre-employment and ongoing.
  • Maintain physician workers’ compensation licensure where applicable.
  • Ensure payment of all fees as required.
  • Assist provider on paperwork or application procedures when needed.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Secure DEA certificate; secure DPS certificate; stay current on board/license certification; collect medical/professional school certificate, internship certificate, residency certificate, and fellowship certificate; secure NPI status; document CME and/or training logs; verify malpractice and send to all insurance panels;  enroll providers to all applicable insurance panels; and handle any VISA issues or applications. This list is not meant to be exclusive as other duties apply.
  • Supply information to TIPS in an accurate and timely manner and facilitate completion of health insurance contracts.
  • Hold outsourcing entity accountable that develops health insurance contracts outside of TIPS. If problems arise, they are expected to be dealt with in a swift and constructive manner to resume normal operations as quickly as possible.
  • Prefer bachelor’s degree in applicable field. Will accept applicable experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a self-starter and work well on an independent basis. 
  • Must possess exceptional organization skills. 
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to understand detailed requirements, and work effectively with providers and regulatory agencies. 

Coding Assistant

Full-Time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Responsible for the daily posting of the charge tickets for a particular physician specialty or several physician specialties.

  • Reviews and edits the tickets for appropriate insurance information.
  • Edits the tickets for appropriate coding information
  • Works closely with the physician and nursing staff to keep them informed of data entry and coding issues
  • Keeps supervisor abreast of any coding education that may be needed for the physician and nursing staff
  • Advanced coding knowledge
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Accounts Payable Clerk

Full-Time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • 3 years of Accounts Payable experience; or a combination of data entry and accounting basic principles experience
  • Ten key experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel

Responsibilities: Code all invoices with general ledger account and vendor ID, Key all invoices into computer for payment, Process and run checks, Reconcile statements, Track petty cash, Track physician CME & Prepare state sales tax reports.

Benefits Coordinator

Full-Time, Mon-Fri,  8:00am – 5:00pm

  • B.S. in Business or related field preferred. May substitute applicable HR experience in benefits and compensation at the discretion of the Director of Human Resources                                                 
  • Minimum of three years experience in planning and directing benefit programs                                         
  • Must be knowledgeable of State and Federal laws pertaining to benefits practices and procedures    
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills

 Licensed or Certified Clinical Positions 

Scribe

Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00, some nights & weekends

  • Records details of chief complaint, history of present illness, review of systems, past medical history, social history, family medical history, disease risk factors, medications and allergies.
  • Records details of physical exam, including pertinent positives and negatives, noted abnormalities and patient general condition.
  • Submits orders as desired by medical provider and checks constantly for results of those orders.
  • Troubleshoots for causes and solutions if orders are not completed in a timely fashion or if results are incomplete.
  • Assists in disposition of patient, whether discharged or admitted, including discharge instructions, admission orders and prescription forms.
  • Scans, archives and pre-loads patient information into the EMR, where needed.
  • At least one year of college, preferably in the area of health studies; or Certified Medical Assistant.
  • Must have computer skills in MS Office applications with intermediate level skill in MS Excel.
  • Medical office experience preferred.
  • Proficient in the understanding and use of an Electronic Medical Record.
  • Proficient in medical terminology and appropriate abbreviations.

RN or LVN Care Coordinator 

Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00

  • Consultation, health and community care expertise, policy liaison and direction as well as face to face support to assigned patient population.
  • Coordinates health care services for patients with identified health risk through initial risk screening to ensuring seamless transition of patients' health and human services to another team member or external case manager throughout the health care continuum
  • Collaborates with various health care providers across the care continuum to ensure that patients are effectively managed and that health care needs are met.
  • Monitors ongoing services and their cost effectiveness; recommending changes to the plan as needed using evidence-based clinical guidelines.
  •  Facilitates patient-centered interdisciplinary care conferences and participate in committees.
  •  Facilitates and coordinates services to develop patient-centered individualized integrated care plans including self management and outcomes goals.
  • Education: Current state of Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse or LVN Licensure
  •  Work Experience: Minimum two (2) years of clinical/managed care experience

Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatry)

Full-Time, Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 5:00pm

  • Current Texas State Nurse Practitioner License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Previous experience in Psychiatry desired, but not required
  • New graduate acceptable
  • Excellent work ethic and patient relationships required
