Physical Therapist

PRN (days, nights, and weekends)

  • Responsibilities Include: maintain and fully utilize advanced knowledge of coding and chart auditing. Performs comprehensive audits; reviews patient records to identify opportunities to improve patient care and/or documentation and insure records meet quality standards.
  • Experience of 2 years in medical billing and coding
  • Knowledge of CMS rules regulations and current coding resources must be demonstrated. Knowledge of the following: CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 and HCPCS.
  • Examine the underlying causes contributing to non-conforming performance.
  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of provider, patient, patient account, and personnel data.
  • Proven audit skills through training and / or certification and the ability to interpret and apply rules and guidelines.
