• ARRT and MRT registered in mammography.
• Operates X-ray equipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
• Develops and evaluates the image for technical quality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and written in a clear, understandable and legible manner.
• Must be able to deal tactfully and confidentially with physicians, personnel and with the patients.
• Must be able to adapt and function in a changing environment.
• Must be flexible and be able to handle assignments in an organized fashion.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover multiple areas of the clinical laboratory: Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology
  • Perform quality control, calibrations and patient testing
  • Perform phlebotomy during weekend and evening coverage
  • Work independently during weekends and evenings
  • Attend quarterly evening meetings

Requirements:

  • MLT:  A.S. degree (or military training) plus hold a national registry
  • MT:   B.S.  degree plus hold a national registry
  • Minimum 1 year experience preferred, but not required
  • Computer skills required

Responsible in assisting in planning and developing new computer systems or devising ways to apply existing systems to operations still completed manually or by some less efficient method.

  • At least 6 months experience with Information Technology
  • Familiar with modern operating and computer systems
  • Experience with Microsoft office applications.
  • Responsible for the helpdesk, including phone calls and e-mails.
  • Answers help desk calls and log into Track-It when needed.
  • Provide user support including training when needed.
  • Repair and maintain desktop and or laptop peripherals.
  • Must maintain, create, and train end users on Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be able to identify faulty system performance as well as ensure the integrity of the equipment.
