Physical Therapist

  • Must have a current Texas State Physical Therapist License or eligible

  • Will work in a department with other physical therapist and support staff in a multi-specialty outpatient clinic
  • Practice encompasses a broad spectrum of work, to include orthopedics, sports medicine, occupational medicine and general wellness

Preferred Skills: Carpentry work, drywall, tile work. Lay wood floors, carpet or tile flooring.

  • Be able to perform general maintenance, to include light electrical, plumbing and carpentry

  • Have a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in facility maintenance

  • Experience in medical billing and coding
  • Responsible for handling and proper disposition of patient accounts

  • Maintain open communication with other staff, and supervisors to complete or resolve issues
  • Health care or customer service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Be able to review and correct denied services or adjusted services from insurance EOB’s
  • Works with minimal supervision
  • Preferably one year experience
  • Be able to challenge insurance carriers for maximum reimbursements
