Mental Health Evaluation and Support

Psychiatry is a medical specialty focused on the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of mental health conditions. The primary objective is to relieve emotional distress, reduce symptoms, and improve overall psychological well-being. Care may be provided in clinical or community settings, depending on individual needs.

Using a medical framework, psychiatric care considers biological, psychological, and social factors. Treatment plans may include medication management, psychotherapy, or a combination of both—approaches shown to be highly effective in supporting recovery and long-term stability.
